The Old Mill House

This project has been a real eyecatcher for people in Aldeburgh and Architects have shown a lot of interest.

The Curved Mill wall is cladded with Cupa Slates, each slate was cut to fit around the curve, We fixed every slate with a hook. Due to the property being on the beach, nails would deteriorate quickly and we wanted to make sure the wind did blow the slates off, the hook fixing system will make sure the slates are secure.

Our Onion Finial was made out Soft Copper, we marked it out on the finial and cut out small pieces on site to follow the rounded shape. Over time the copper will change colour too.
