My Story
Born in March of 1982, I am Managing Director of ELC Roofing Ltd and grew up in Boxted, Suffolk.
My father, Michael Carlo is a well-known local artist and printmaker, whilst my mother Lynn is a local antique dealer, and Brother Joe a music teacher.
Both of my parents run their own businesses from their home in Boxted, which is where I developed the acumen to also become a successful businessman.
At a young age, I always enjoyed being outside, whether fishing, playing football, or simply playing in the fields near the local farm.
I attended Hartest Primary School where I met many of my friends, who I am still in touch with today. I then attended Clare Middle School along with most of my friends from Hartest.
Out of work, I like to spend time with my family, whether it be a trip out with the children to a history museum or a gentle stroll in the local park. Some of my favourite places I have taken the family include Cornwall, The Cotswolds and France.
I enjoy cooking for my family in the evenings, whilst listening to a track or two of jazz music or Van Morrison, before heading out to do a little bit of gardening.
I have always been a huge fan of many sports, and to this day I still enjoy my fishing, partly because of being a big lover of wildlife.
I enjoy watching my local football team Ipswich Town play at Portman Road or taking a trip to Lords to watch England play cricket when I can find the time.
